RDN 2002 Jungle Anomaly Drilling Plan Map
Plan map of the Jungle Anomaly, showing drillhole location and anomalous gold-in-soil geochemistry. All four holes (RDN02-23,26-28) drilled to test the Jungle Anomaly were lost due to bad ground conditions and did not reach their target depth. Holes RDN02-25, 29, drilled to test the North Jungle Anomaly reached the target depth, intersecting hangingwall mudstone, volcanic siltstone and minor dacitic units. These holes are interpreted to have stopped in the hangingwall sediments, above the p...

RDN 2001 Wedge Zone Diamond Drilliing Plan Map
Plan map of the Wedge Zone, showing drillholes and prospective stratigraphy. The Eskay-equivalent horizon at the contact of the footwall felsic volcanics and hangingwall clastic sediments/mafic volcanics is highlighted in red.

RDN Drill Cross-section 9400N
Section 9400N showing 2001 drillholes. Prospective horizon is at the contact of felsic volcanic/sediment units. Footwall felsic volcanics are very strongly silica-sericite-K feldspar altered, with disseminated sulphides including sphalerite, galena, tetrahedrite-tennantite and orpiment. Other shallow-marine VMS characteristics noted in drillcore include chalcedonic quartz, pyrobitumen and elevated mercury (up to 24,200 ppb) in the footwall rocks.
