Jason Weber, P.Geo., President and CEO
Prior to Kiska, Jason held the position of President and CEO for Rimfire Minerals Corporation, a position he held since 2007. Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, he acted as Manager of Corporate Communications for Rimfire from 1999-2007. Jason was appointed President and CEO of Kiska Metals Corporation in August 2009, upon the merger of Rimfire and Geoinformatics Exploration to create Kiska. His career was launched in 1993 as a Project Geologist with two consulting groups and a Vancouver --based junior explorer. In 1995 Jason joined Equity Engineering Ltd., working in Western Canada, Labrador and Central America. Active in promoting the exploration industry, Jason is Chair of Mineral Exploration Roundup, one of the world's largest annual exploration conferences and is a member of the board of directors for the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Geological Sciences from the University of British Columbia.
David A. Caulfield, P.Geo., Chairman and Director of Business Development
Chairman and Director of Business Development
David, a co-founder of Rimfire Minerals Corporation (Now Kiska Metals), plays an integral role in building the business through its strategic partnerships. Prior to Rimfire, he was the co-founder and President of Equity Engineering Ltd., a privately held geological consulting firm. David served as the 2005 President of the Association for Mineral Exploration of British Columbia (AME BC), a non-profit association that advocates a healthy and environmentally sound exploration and mining sector in British Columbia.
Dorothy Miller, CGA, Chief Financial Officer
Dorothy joined Rimfire Minerals Corporation (Now Kiska Metals) as Chief Financial Officer in March of 2003. Prior to this role, she held administrative positions with various forestry and mining companies, including Rimfire and Equity Engineering Ltd.
Mark E. Baknes, M.Sc., P.Geo., VP Exploration
Prior to joining Rimfire Minerals Corporation (Now Kiska Metals), Mark was a senior geologist with Equity Engineering Ltd. While at Equity, Mark was the driving force behind the Wolverine massive sulphide discovery in Yukon Territory in 1995. Mark holds a B.Sc. in Geological Sciences from the University of British Columbia and a M.Sc. from McMaster University.
Robert A. Duncan, M.Sc., Manager, Exploration
Robert joined the Rimfire Minerals Corporation (Now Kiska Metals) in March of 2004. He previously held positions of Vice President of Exploration and Senior Geologist with junior explorers, as well as Geologist with several Vancouver-based major companies. Robert graduated with a B.Sc. (Honours) in Geological Sciences from the University of British Columbia and a M.Sc. in Geological Sciences.
Mike Roberts, Ph.D., Senior Geologist
Michael joined Rimfire Minerals Corporation (Now Kiska Metals) in October of 2005. He previously worked as a project geologist for junior explorers and as a postdoctoral research associate at the Universities of Southern California and Cape Town.
Wesley A.Hodson, B.Sc., ADP GIS, GIS Specialist/Geologist
Wes joined Rimfire Minerals Corporation (Now Kiska Metals) in 2006. He previously held the position of Technical Services Manager and Geologist with another Vancouver based mining company. Wes attended the University of British Columbia where he graduated with a B.Sc. in Geology prior to obtaining an Advanced Diploma in GIS from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Dan Lui, M.Sc., Project Geologist,
Dan's background lies in geochemistry and volcanology. Dan holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of British Columbia and M.Sc. from University of Western Ontario, and has worked as a geologist in Australia, British Columbia, Nunavut, and Eastern Europe.
Robin McQuinn, Project Geologist
Robin joined Geoinformatics Exploration team (now Kiska Metals) in 2006, and has contributed to every exploration program since joining. Robin holds a B.Sc (Honours) in Geological and Computer Sciences from the University of British Columbia with a focus on volcanology process modeling. Since graduating Robin has worked on projects from Alaska to Chile that range in stages from regional targeting to resource modeling and estimation.
