Jason Weber (P.Geo.) President, CEO and Director
Jason joined Rimfire Minerals Corporation in December of 1999 as Manager, Corporate Communications a position he held until 2007 when he was named President and CEO of Rimfire Minerals Corporation (Now Kiska Metals). His career was launched as a Project Geologist with Equity Engineering Ltd., working in Western Canada, Labrador and Central America. Active in promoting the exploration industry, Jason is Co-Chair of Mineral Exploration Roundup, one of the world's largest annual exploration conferences. Jason graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.Sc. in Geological Sciences.
David Caulfield (P.Geo.) Co-Chairman and Director of Business Development
David, a co-founder of Rimfire Minerals Corporation (Now Kiska Metals), plays an integral role in building the business through its strategic partnerships. Prior to Rimfire, he was the co-founder and President of Equity Engineering Ltd., a privately held geological consulting firm. David served as the 2005 President of the Association for Mineral Exploration of British Columbia (AME BC), a non-profit association that advocates a healthy and environmentally sound exploration and mining sector in British Columbia.
John Kanellitsas Co-Chairman
John has been the Chief Operating Officer of Geologic Resource Partners, LLC since its inception in 2004. He has been involved in the investment banking and money management industry for over twenty years and has held positions with Morgan Stanley and the General Electric Company. John has a Masters of Business Administration from University of California at Los Angeles and a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.
Bipin Ghelani Director
Mr. Ghelani is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in financial, accounting and taxation matters. Prior to managing his own firm, Mr. Ghelani held senior positions with several international accounting firms including Deloitte & Touche and Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
William G. Schur Director
Mr. Schur earned an A.B. degree from Dartmouth College in 1972, with a major in Government followed by a J.D. from Cornell University. He was admitted to the Bar in Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1975 and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in 1978. He is also a member of the Trial Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Schur currently has a law practice in the city of Chicago.
Mark T. Selby Director
Mr. Selby holds a B.Comm (Hons.) degree and is currently Vice President, Business Planning and Market Research for Quadra Mining Ltd. Mr. Selby founded Selby & Co in 2006 to provide consulting advice to mining companies and investors on the outlook for base metals and resource equity valuation. His prior positions include: Assistant Vice-President, Strategic Planning & Business Development (2005-2007) and Director, Market Research (2001-2004) with Inco Limited and Principal at Mercer Management Consulting (1994-2001).
Rosie Moore Director
Ms. Moore currently serves as a senior research analyst for Geologic Resource Partners. Her career in mining and metals exploration includes six years on the Carlin Trend, Nevada, One year consulting to Barrick Gold in Peru and two years as Manager of Geology for Diamond Fields Resources. Ms. Moore was a sell side research analyst covering junior mining companies in Latin America for Yorkton Securities, Vice President Corporate Relations for Pan American Silver (1997-2003), Vice President Corporate Development for Bear Creek Mining (2003-04) and President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Wealth Minerals (2004-05). Ms. Moore graduated with her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Geology from Kent State University.
